Les gratte-ciel de Hong Kong Island

On est maintenant au centre de Hong Kong. Ce qui a des très appréciable ici par rapport à d'autres grandes villes, c'est l'architecture de tous ces édifices. On ne se contente plus de simples tours de verre. Celui de gauche est la banque de Chine. L'architecte est I M Pei (le même qui a fait les pyramides du louvre à Paris). On l'a terminé en 1989. C'était le plus grand de Hong Kong avec ses 74 étages. C'est maintenant le Central Plaza building qui est le plus grand avec 78 étages.

Hong Kong Island's buildings

This is the center of Hong Kong. What is really great about this city, if you compare it to others, it,s the architecture of the buildings. They are much more then simple glass towers. The one at the right is the bank of China. The architect is I M Pei (the same who did the Louvre's pyramids in Paris). It was finished in 1989. It was the tallest of Hong Kong with 74 flours. Now it's the Central Plaza building that is the tallest with 78 flours.
