Quand j'étais à Chiang mai, je voulais vraiment faire un tour d'éléphant. L'année d'avant, j'avais fait un tour de chameau dans le désert du Maroc. Je me suis donc acheté un petit tour organisé. Le tour était assez épuisant, car il a fallu marcher beaucoup. J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'ensemble du tour, mais je n'ai pas du tout aimé le tour d'éléphant. Ils étaient maltraités par les thais. On les frappait continuellement parce qu'ils ne voulaient plus avancer (la boue des montagnes rendait leur tâche difficile).
